New system build that i will be testing. I will run synthetic and real world benchmarks. Meaning stuff like PCMark, 3DMark, CineBench, Games Etc. If you want you can suggest some benchmark or games if you want. Will be using the onboard IGP and then a HD 7870. Specs can be found below. Will also be running the CPU slightly OC'd

• AMD A10-6800K APU
• FM2 A85X motherboard
• 2x4 AMD Radeon™ RP1866 Performance Memory
• Fractal Arc Midi R2 Case
• Fractal Tesla R2 650W Power Supply Unit
• Kingston SSDNow V300 Series 2.5" 60GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive
• LG 24X DVD Burner
• Windows 7 OS Disc

All test were ran at Stock

CPU: 4.1GHz Turbo 4.4GHz
GPU: 844MHz/933MHz 1866MHz RAM

That'll make a nice little system. After OS install, you won't have too much room to install games though. I use a 60gb SSD in my HTPC and there's maybe 20gb left after I got it all up, patched, and loaded. But that's a little Core2 Duo. I'd love to have me one of those 6800k's!

Nice setup durv, ill run the same tests with my 6800K to compare them.

hey guys would be great to see gpu test at stock and oc'd to 1000-1200MHz, I would like to see the difference before and after!

Surprised you went with 1866 now that Richland supports 2133 officially.

Nice.

Been happy with this similar system I put together in Feb of this year. Thought about dropping a 6800K in it but haven't decided yet.

sorry guys for taking so long with the benchmarks. Was sent the wrong Windows 7 license. Got the 32bit version instead of 64bit and now i'm waiting on them to send me another

If you read above i stated that i'm waiting for my Windows 7 disc/license as they sent me the wrong one

Eh?, im quite sure you can use same key for x86 & x64 installs?..

Anyway, looking forward to results, looking to build an A10 for a family member

Bu i don't have a x64 install unless i download one


But they said there sending me Windows 8 x64 and i get to keep the Windows 7 x32 for my troubles
