AMD A10-5800K for new upcoming GPUs

You're right, of course. What I really meant was that it's probably better to get a good GPU and hold off on the CPU upgrade until he can really afford a platform upgrade, than to spend half as much on each. With a budget of <$350, OP is probably better off sticking with his A8 for now.

A10 + HD7950 > i5 2500 + HD7770 > 4670K + HD4600

I see a few of you have mentioned my A8, which infact is the A10.
The A8 which seem to have been misquoted is from the review from post #2.

I'll look into getting a new case and a new cpu cooler while I wait for the new GPU's to be released.

Seeing as the Hyper 212 Evo has been recommended, is it silent?
The main reason for switching out the stock cooler is the damn noise level, especially under load.

My bad. A8 and A10 are close enough though. :p

The Evo's stock fan is middle-of-the-road at full speed but you can turn it down and still get plenty adequate cooling. I swapped it out for a Yate Loon in my wife's PC but I suspect you'll be pretty happy with it.
