Also is this the first time you've used the DFI NF4? If so it is very picky, try booting with only one stick of ram in, and make sure you have all 4 power connectors plugged in.

I cannot read the CPU revision - I suspected I had revision E just because it shipped a week ago. So this may not be it.
Off-topic: I tried Kingston and Transcend ram sticks solo and dual on slots 1, 1-2 and 1-3.

For Dual Channel only use the Orangle slots. Like I said it can be picky and only allow one slot to work at first(Use the orange slot furthest away from the cpu socket), and will need some tweaking to get both sticks working properly. You don't have a Venice. No one has them in stock yet.
