Should I buy:

Amd 3200 64(754) + nfroce 3 250gb

or

Amd 3000 64(939) + via chipset

which performs better for gaming?
 
The 3200 will perform better. It has a 400 MHz advantage over the 3000 939. Comparing both 3200's would be too close to call though.
 
OK,I just got to know that price of amd 3200 939=amd 754 3200 price in india,so make it:
amd 3200 754+nforce3 250gb
or
amd 3200 939+via chipset
 
why don't you go 939 + nforce3? it's equal in performance to the via chipset with better features like on-chip FW and gigabit Ethernet. or better yet nforce4 SLI and be future proof as well.
 
I would go nf3 and 3000+ winchester if I were building a computer right now. nf4 is likely to have bugs when it's first released and early adopters are going to get nailed by it. I would also go nf3 because agp videocards are still going to be produced for quite some time, and how often does one really upgrade their parts? You buy a 6800 gt or something in that range and you won't need a new videocard for a long time.
