hehe, anywho, yeah, Slashdotting used to be when a link was posted on Slashdot everyone would swamp the server it was linking to. however, Anandtech is one of THE biggest sites anyway, so we were more or less prepared for the usual high traffic, however, becuase it's a BIG article (not physically, but in terms of the subject), we were swamped with hits not only from /., but from alot of other sites.

2) Dual Duron 700's for about $55 each &amp; overclock the snot out of them.

What do you want a smp box for? I thought you were a gamer. What games can you play on a dual processor board? What OS are you gonna use on that?

I'm not just a gamer...I tend to have lots of windows open with multiple applications and activities going on in the background. I run Windows 2000 Pro which supports dual CPUs.

Durons will be so cheap once the 760MP gets here that it will be crazy NOT to go dual
