AMD 64 chipset (VIA K8T800 Vs. nForce3)

I'm lookign for best overall preformance (duha..), either chipset I get, the board itself will be of the same price level (around $110). Thanks.

This is the MSI K8N neo2 platnium, seems to have everything you could want from a motherboard
and I`ve looked at benchmarks from a few places and it seems to be the fastest motherboard around
costs $139.00 though:

The Abit AV8 is $116.00.Not as quick as the MSI but still a top motherboard:

I didn't mention it, but the cpu I'm getting is AMD 64 3000 (754 pins).

The best board IMHO is the DFI LANPartyUT 250 Gb (nForce 3) for your CPU,btw VIA is not as bad as some people make out( I`ve owned both VIA and nforce boards,as well as SiS),however nForce 3 has the edge at the moment in both features/overclocking.

If I'll run FOSS on the new rig, it'll be only as secondary OS (windows will be main).
So I guess I'll go for the nForce3 (as most people here recomended).
