I don't recommend getting the NForce4 yet unless you like to throw away your money.
754 vs 939

Antec PSU is a good choice. I like the Powerneo 480W with Active PFC
3200+ is a good choice.... Asus A8V is a good board for Athlon 64... 2000FSB. Unless you wanna get an nforce4 board, that'd be good ;-) MSI is ok... check them all out first... the Asus board has lots of awards. I used to hate Via chipsets from years and years ago... nforce boards seemed more stanble during the time of nforce2. Via chipsets have come a long way I've heard.
Zalman is good... ATI or nvidia is good... lots of people happy with their 6800GT's and X800's. I have a 6600GT which is much cheaper... yet not slow. (faster than a 9800 Pro)

anyways... it's all good.

any psus to suggest? I will get a nforce 4 board. the msi board is subsistuting the asus motherboard. I will only get that board if it is 140. Thinking about 6600GT then step up to 6800GT pci x using evga.

What are some good psus for around 80-90. Would like a blue led.

i am pretty confident that u ll find a good nf-4 ultra board soon within the price y want.as for the psu the fortron bluestorm 500 fits your description perfectly(cheap-not noisy-quality-blue led(if i judge from the name i hope i dont talk bs about this)

I know forton is a good brand. But I dunno why I am leaning more to the antec brand...

This is what I have:

http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=373009

Only $59 @ ZipZoomFly (half of MSRP) and free 2nd Day Air. The power supply has only one 12V rail, but it's capable of 28A. The finish is like a mirror (although touching it leaves fingerprints) and the blue LED's are BRIGHT as all get out. I can't say I dislike mine. 😉 The UV reactive window that faces out towards the windowed side panel (if your case HAS a window) is the side of the PSU with the two HUGE yellow caps. Looks pretty neat. The fans are pretty quiet too. Dual ceramic ball bearing.

754 vs 939

why are you so pushy in making people get 754?? there ARE OTHER 939 boards beside nForce4

getting 754 puts you in an upgrade dead end . . .

hey man.its your computer.u are the one that gonna stick with it.u cant go wrong with any good brand psu at my opinion so get the one u like the most.

no no I'm just asking for opinons. I can't judge everything. My opinon is partly on other people's opinons.
