amd 64 3700 release date????

anyone know when the 3700+ is coming out? or the 2800? i've heard Q2, end of march, early april. i want to build a computer asap. i either want to get a 3000 or wait until the 3700 comes out and get a 3400 for less.

I believe the models are 3600+ and 3800+.

the 2800+ is out now, and the 3700 will be out around the second half of this year. The 3600+ and the 3800+ will be socket 939, while the 3700+ will be a 2.4Ghz amd64 with 1MB of cache on socket 754.

3700 is the highest on amd's current roadmap. But i imagine there will be faster chips. No reason why not.

3700+ should be the fastest for 754, then all new will be moved to socket 939.

La la la.... 3700 on the 754 = 3800 on the 939.

I like the 2800 chip. The 3000+ is also a fine processor.

I'm waiting for the 3GHz AMD 64.. what would that be around? 4200+?
