AMD 5800XT CPU $160 shipped Amazon.

Not bad! 200MHz boost over the 5700X for $10 more. Should both be B2 stepping of Vermeer so I'm not sure how much it matters, practically.

$149.99 with Wraith prism cooler. Turbo to 4.8 Ghz. Launch date 7/31/2024.
Had recommended it last week for a 2700X user. Good final upgrade for an older system.
5700X3D have become more expensive.
