AMD 3800+ x2 Question on Stepping?????

E4 = Manchester core 2x512kb L2 cache
E6 = Toledo core 2x1024kb L2 cache with half the cache disabled, plus an updated memory controller (so I've read)

From what I remember reading, both overclock about the same (mine's an E4, for reference).

Um. E4's are actually newer than E6's. So I would guess they'd have the same memory controller.

they both have the same memory controller....there aren't many E6 cores anymore since they are just 4400s or higher that couldn't make it at that speed

Where is the E6 and the E4 at
on CPU-Z????

If I run it I see 2 in the stepping slot
and right below that in the Revision
box it says JH-E6.

So is mine E6 or what???
