Is there a reason why this happens? That means my processor speed is running at around 2.00GHz.
I can run the processor at 220MHz and it boots into Windows just fine.
My memory is rated for 250MHz (Ballistix) so I don't see why I could not run it at 230MHz.
I'm fairly certian my CPU is more than capable of being able to run at 230MHz. I run it at 220MHz and can pass Prime and Orthos for several hours with no problems and my temp is being read at 40C on both cores using Core Temp.
Any ideas?
I figured it out.
I needed to go into the memory settings and take it off of auto and set it to the required HTT or FSB which is 200MHz. It is now running at 230MHz and at 2.3GHz. Thanks.
