I have no idea what this one is, has Toledo stepping, but I bought it as a Sandy?

Any ideas.... and how does it OC?.... Its still in the box unopened, so I still have the option of returning it....

he has a 3500+ which is just a manchester but wiht 1 core disabled.

might be a good chance you have 3700+ or a 4400+ toledo with 1 core disabled.

Well CCBWE , SPMW is a toledo stepping....and yes, I wonder if there is a way to enable that second core. If that is so then I woulda got a bargain. But I bet the 2nd core has been physically disconnected by AMD.

im' sure it's been disabled or it's even possible the second core was defective

However, do you really think you'd want a defective second core working?
Even if there was a way to enable it, it's not gonna work...

Its very simple. If only one core is defective, instead of trashing the entire die and taking it as a loss, AMD can just disable one of the cores and sell it as a single-core A64.
