Amd 3000+ winni oced to 2700, but im getting artifacts?

So , i got my new amd 3000 winni to 2700 mhz, but for some reason there are artifacts in games and in the 3dmark benches... im not sure what is going on!!

Can anyone help me?

msi neo 2 mobo with 1.37 modded bios
watercooled
x800xt pe
ocz 32000 platinum rev.2

Got water on your video card? in Agp socket? Overclcoked card?.. CPU has no bearing on artifacts..CPU crashes app.

No water, its fluidxp, and i checked anyway.
The card was at stock when i tested for stability, and teh videocard is fine.

When i underclock the fsb to around 280/285, everything is fine... anywhere above that, and i see a lot of artifacts...

It was my htt multi... It was set at 3, but the mobo cant take 3 that high i guess... so i set it to 2.5, and i haev smooth sailing 😀

now im stuck at 305 fsb 🙁

Anything above i get a harddrive crash at startup, and if i og higher my system restarts at loading screen...

My mobo is keeping me back, i know it!

You may have just reached the limit of your chip, but why would you need more than 305 FSB right now anyway?

ive gotten to 335x7 with 1.51b bios...

That's actually worse than 300x9 (which is a total of 2700MHz; you are now at 2345MHz). Remember that the HTT speed itself on A64s doesn't really matter for performance. This is why you can run the HTT and RAM asynchronously even when overclocking and still see no real performance deficit.

ok, now i have gotten the thing to 315, but nay higher causes windows loading to sorta stutter, and freeze, and when entering windows, its frozen...
