Hello,
I'm a noob concerning these amd64 processers. If I get a new AMD 3000+ 939 on an Asus mobo with crucial ddr 400, what will the fsb be running at right out of the box, no overclocking? 1600 or 2000(I'm not sure how hypertransport works)? Also, I have an AIW 9600 pro. Should I be able to run half-life 2 at 1024x768 full details, over 60fps with this?

Thanks,
Jason

200, and hypertransport will probably be 2000 (not sure) but even 1600 is fine. Don;t know about question on the video vard, as that is not that great a card. Whats your CPU now ?

Well, I don't know but you really need a new cpu. Start there, and if thats not enough, get a 9800pro, or a 6800GT (depending on budget)
