I read the whole review. No one is saying that the 2200g is as good as the 2400g. It's not, but it is close in most benchmarks. If someone is building a HTPC it could be more than close enough to rule out spending $70 extra for the 2400g, even when planning on using it for some amount of gaming. $170 instead of $100 may not mean anything to you, but it likely will to many.

Thats part of the fun. How low can you go and still get it to do what you want it to.
