What is the normal CPU temp while it's running.
I just got this new CPU with Speed Gear from Winfast running and it shows that it's running at 59 C. While I was burning one of the CD it reaches 63 C and it keep flashing that my CPU temp is getting too hot.. I'm using Dragon ORB 1 with 4900 Rpm fan. Should I add more fan to the case. The case came with one fan in the back already.
OR should I just ignore it. Might not be that bad in winter time.

You know, I'm not sure what to make of the whole 2200+ deal. Honestly, mine is severely innacurate when displaying core temps. My Koolance says that it's at 30C, yet the mobo claims it's anywhere from 45C - 75C. The retention brackets on my Koolance CPU waterblock, however, are hardly warm. On the few occasions my ASUS A7V333 mobo has flipped out and shut the machine down, I've immediately taken the waterblock off to find that the core is only mildly warm, if hardly at all.

i have an alpha pal 8045 on an xp 2200+ with an a7v333. my temps are idling 51C and under load 58C. i am using ACIII with a 75CFM fan. when i put my setup in an abit kx7-333R, it idles at 34, boots at 29, and under load 40. i think the motherboard temp senser isn't calibrated correctly. btw, the reason i have 2 MB's is because the kx7 will not keep my computer stable.

Try a better heatsink/fan unit. Thermalright AX-7 with a medium-output or adjustable-speed 80mm fan would be a good option.

The KX7-333R has a temperature sensor in the socket under the CPU. The A7V-333 read the CPU core temperature. That's why the KX7 temps look unusually low. My XP2000+(A7V333) reads around 55C idle and 60 - 63 when running Prime95 or Unreal Tournament. I have a Kingwin KCU-7025 cooler.

My experimentation has found that the A7V333's CPU temperature is extremely sensitive to the temperature of the motherboard underneath the CPU (tested by holding a cold pack against it while watching the BIOS and Asus Probe readings). From my results, I've concluded that although C.O.P. does monitor the CPU diode for overheat on the A7V333, the readings in BIOS and Asus Probe are from a surface-mounted socket thermistor, which explains the narrow temp swings from idle to loaded (as well as the slow response time). I was disappointed. :|

Alpha PAL8045 with a PAPST 80X80X25 Fan and i run my Athlon XP 1800+ overclocked to 2000+
with 2 intake fans and 2 exhorts fans ... on a a Epox 8k3a board it reads idle temp at 32c and full load temp at 35c
the things cold ass .. but that?s probably cause I?m using a large server case with all my cables tied up for good
air flow and lots of grills in it either way .... case fans do something i guess ... cause that other guy has the same
heat sink and his running at 50c ....

This is the case i use http://www.pccasegear.com/prod306.htm
found online and its worth every cent ! :D in Austalian $$$ :)
