AMD 1Ghz T-Bird ... is it?

I'm experimenting this processor right NOW ...
Overclocking it to see what will happen on my engineering sample board I-Will KK266-R (KT133A) motherboard which I'm doing a review. 🙂

I've noticed 10 x 100Mhz = 1Ghz, but also if 'underclocked' using x7.5 multipler I could run my 1Ghz T-Bird @ 133 FSB ...

So which is the CORRECT multipler/FSB setting?
I'll be posting my review on I-Will KK266-R (KT133A) motherboard soon ... watch this space!

the fastest one.......

actually your chip is "supposed" to run @ the 10X multiplier..... only the AthlonC are supposed to be for 133FSB:

Your technically OCing the CPU running it at 133FSB, but from what I hear there isnt really a problem for most 100FSB CPUs running at 133.

there is a 1ghz c and a 1ghz normal. The c is one with a fixed 7.5 multiplier for the 133 FSB. They are identical except for the multiplier. I bet it would work at 7.5. I would try later at 8 and 8.5 to see if you can overclock higher that way...
