I had no idea they were still rare today. With lots of people complaining about Eyefinity for their 5970, or saying "ok, I'm gonna get a 5970, damn nV", I was under the impression the 5970 (along with the rest of the 5 series) stocks were doing much better than launch.

Don't hold your breath on that one! By the time the drivers are fixed (if ever) on this release something better - whether red or green - surely will prevail.
