Here's one in Chinese comparing the 1055T, PhII 965, I7 920 and 750:where are the reviews already when you can actually buy this processor?
I dont get the Far Cry 2 results. so a 5870 and Phenom 2 965 or 1055t gets much worse than I get with an E8500 and gtx260 and I even had on 2x AA?Here's one in Chinese comparing the 1055T, PhII 965, I7 920 and 750:

they used the built in benchmark on high settings at 1920 with no AA so how much of a different scenario could it be? I am not trying to make an EXACT comparison but it seems odd that a cpu that is certainly as strong as mine and a much faster gpu should have a way higher score than I got.Comparing with different testing scenarios is failed logic.
Were going to have to wait for the benchmarks to see if this makes a big difference.
thanks so the 1055T is pretty much on par with i7 920 for multithreaded apps while smashes in gaming. pretty much what I figured.
How does the 1055T "smashes in gaming"? Are you looking at the same benchmarks. The 1055T loses to the i7 and i5 in all four of the games they tested. It even loses to the Phenom II 965 in 3 out of the 4 games. The only benchmark it wins is the multi CPU Cinebench. It looks like my earlier prediction is valid. if these benchmarks are legit.
Ehm , its actually ddr3 memory, if you're looking on everest, there's some bug. I got Asus M4A89GTD pro usb3.
This thread is jokes!
I don't think anyone on a current i7 build has anything to worry about. Even if you they are equal at stock speed.
lol while virtual larry is just interested in causing a fight with his comments, intel still has the superior platform and there is no doubt about that. On the majority of benchmarks I still see the i7 being faster and the 6 core AMD chip will only give equal performance on applications that use alot of cores and we know how many desktop applications take use of all cores!
And getting beyond this he said she said nonsense. It is great for AMD to be releasing this processor at this price point and I see why amd fans are happy... There is finally something to be happy about after the last few years of disappointments!
But this is by no means a clear cut victory AMD is still a Generation behind the Blue Giant!
Why does it say 1095T and 1090T? Where did the "1095T" model name come from?
Does anyone know when the NDA lifts for review?
And when I can buy one.....
