AMC Theatres $1 Hot Dogs

At $1, they are still making money... imagine how much they are making charging us $3.50. I never eat theater food unless I am desparately hungry. Just too damn expensive!

of course they are still making money, anytime you buy food, whoever is selling it is making money. at 1 buck, it's not a bad deal though, you'll be hard pressed to find cheaper (cooked) hot dogs sold from any other vendor.
 
fry's often sells hotdogs for 25 cents and they'll throw in a free coke. no watching some awful movie... but remember they put $.25 worth of hotdog material in there, but atleast u dont have to pay $1.00 for it

I wouldn't say often...
 
maybe they're trying to get u to get a hot dog, and then get thirsty so u will buy their coke?
but knowing how smart anandtechers r, we're not gonna fall for that and buy their coke!
