What's the ambient HD temp

I have 2 250s and a 10k raptor all next to each other.

sensor mounted to the shiny side of the raptor says 46 celsius. am i dumb, and should i move one or two to the 5.25 bays (link to some rails please)

Shouldn't worry too much with your HD temps, as long

as you mount them very close to either an intake or exhaust fan(s).

But what's the max and average temps for hard drives - either 10k or 7.5k?

the ambient temp in my case is 25 degrees C. My WD800JBRTL and my ST3200822A stay close if not unber 30 in my thermaltake VA4000
