Those original prices were set my Amazon "marketplace" sellers. I could open up an Amazon "marketplace" account in 5 minutes and list the original price of a pack of rubberbands as $2 billion.

sometimes i see that and just laugh! if its something i want i call teh wife over and tell her its on sale but i have to act fast! lol
