Consider going keto for a while.
Keto isn't going to reverse brain damage my friend. Combat sports, high school football, bouncing off my helmeted head in a motorcycle crash, comminuted fracturing my left clavicle with some head (no helmet because that would have been smart) on cement action skateboarding, and being ejected from a car as a teenager because my friend ran a red light high as a elephant's eye, have all come calling.

As to the LOTR show, again, I like it. I want more epic violence and magic next season though.

Exactly. I feel that drilling a hole in my head vibe sometimes. The headaches are super cereal.

Sort of on topic: That is another franchise that shit the bed immediately afterwards and never recovered. I think this LOTR series has shown good production values, and has potential to get epic. The other brightspot is that it isn't on Netflix where the ax can fall at any moment.

You are also correct there we're definitely some pacing issues in the first season. It was good because overall it was world building this really cool universe and story. I am pretty sure from what I've seen an interviews with the showrunners is that next season is going to be paced differently. There will be more action.

It may still slow down the decline: https://www.greenprophet.com/2022/01/keto-diet-brain-injury/

It should also help with more energy during your workout routines.
I thank you for your kindness and willingness to help. :beercheers: But we both know there is a zero point zero percent chance I am clicking on some "greenprophet" bullshit. I get that you do the new age hippie crap like crystals, astrology, homeopathy, and other pseudoscience. And as I have told you before -

On the show: I never got through the Silmarillion, it bored me to tears at 15. The show is based on the appendages from the LOTR trilogy right? So it's got a lot of room for artistic license?

OK, then at least study this: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7699472/

The observation that some individuals acutely (within 2 h) show improved cognitive function, suggests that ketones immediately provide additional or more efficient energy production in individuals with or at risk of neurodegenerative disease. With long-term ketogenic treatment additional adaptations might take place.

Not in the military, and Star Fleet is military, regardless of the "we do science and diplomacy" cover story.

The fact that you skipped over 90% of my post to respond with what you evidently thought was an easy argument win tells me everything I need to know about your opinion.

No, I just picked the part that was most concise, and had the most meat. My area is "diverse", but I, like 99.9% of the country don't work with hairdressers, costumers, and actors. You figure out the implication of that.

I really enjoyed Rings of Power. No Hollywoodification, and its tone is faithful to the books I've read (LOTR/Hobbit). It has no problem taking its time to tell its story, much like the LOTR books.

You are more patient than most of us here.

I thought it was "okay" myself .... but considering the UUUUGE budget that's a fail. :confused_old:

"Not only was it (Rings of Power) snubbed almost entirely during awards season, it turns out that a mere 37% of people who started the show actually ended up finishing it. Just under two-thirds of all Rings Of Power viewers quit watching the show before the finale, missing out on some truly ghastly television in the process."
