Sheet.....both Bioshocks for $4.99?

I don't have either....think I have to bite on that.

^Bioshock bundle is highly recommended if you don't own either.

Couldn't resist and picked up Kingdoms of Amalur and Syndicate.

Syndicate angers me, in that it means that there will likely never be an actual sequel to the original with squad based RTS missions. I always loved redoing assassination missions in different ways, sort of like an RTS version of Hitman.

Syndicate was decent, possibly a steal at $5. It's kind of generic-FPSy, but the guns feel powerful and satisfying and the graphics and art are nice to look at when you're not blinded by flare/bloom. The story's kind of forgettable and the "hacking enemy minds" is basically "hold E to gimmick" but it's fun nonetheless.


Thinking about Kingdoms of Amalur. I played a few hours at a friend's house, got to the spider village area, felt very generic and boring and like nothing was going to change for the duration...does it get better?
