Amazon's A9 Maps is going to rival Google Maps

Click on one of the major cities listed and then use the magnifying glass to find the streets that you'd like to see up close. To view all the streets that have BlockView images, click the checkbox on the top left hand corner of the screen that says "Mark Streets Containing BlockView Images"

Now you can go traveling without getting off your chair 🙂

I just spotted it for the first time because I have never used A9 for anything. To be perfectly honest with you, I was just trying to earn the A9 discount (1.57%) off of my amazon purchase 🙂
 
I do not understand Amazon.com's intentions with this.

First an online retailer, now they're moving into online media?

Also, their A9 search is just Google results with the A9 label, I wonder if the A9 maps will make Google second guess their relationship with Amazon.com.
