They really don't give you much. I would have to trade in pretty much all my 360 games to reach $75 and they don't include past sports titles.

the only way to not get raped selling games is to sell them while the game is still hot. like, within a week of purchase. which means you basically just did a really inefficient rental.

blah. ebay your games and buy what you want.

I have a DS I never use.

Yeah, I can get $50 easily (2 DS games, Pikmin 2 and Mario Galaxy,) but I need to know if I can trade in my actual DS, then I can get a DSi cheap.

oh, and if you can find some tradeins that you can buy from ebay for about the same price you can save about $75 off a console if you want. granted you have to buy the games and they aren't old ones you had sitting around, but you also aren't paying retail price either

Actually, I thought I was in PC games when I posted. Sorry about that.

There is a current deal where you trade in $60 worth of games and get a bonus $30 toward a game purchase.

I got in on this deal and used it to get a DSi. $80 credit for $60 worth of games + $75 bonus credit + $15 I had to pay= $75 DSi.

spoke to a rep today, the deal is dead. mods, can we mark this one dead and buried. if anyone would like to post the current promo, it's $30 of extra credit towards video game purchase for $60 of trade-ins.

If anyone is interested, theres a pretty good deal on trading in games for gamestop. Trade in 6 games and get 40 percent extra credit, and if you reserve the new madden along with it you get an extra 20 percent.
