Amazon Spring Sale!!

Serious sam 3 BFE - $12.00, probably the lowest price I have seen it yet.

Metro2033, $4.99, good price.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R : SoC - $4.99, great price

Definitely bought Darkness II. I even used a $10 Amazon gift certificate I had. Darkness II for only $2 D:

The nnew crusaader 2 for 18 and all the dragon age ones for 10 are some others I remember reading about.

Is Stronghold 3 has crappy as the Amazon reviews make it out to be? One review said the March patch helped a lot.

Darkness 2 is already at $12? Shit... now I feel stupid paying what I did and barely putting 2 hours into it so far.

Is it any good? I looked at it a bit after watching the Zero Punctuation review, and I couldn't really decide whether it was worth buying.

If it makes you feel any better, after buying Dragon's Age, DLC, expansion on the PS3 for maybe $100 or more, I got the 'great deal' of a bundle for Windows for $50, maybe it'd be fun to replay on that platform... hadn't played it before it was down to $7.49. These things happen. For what it's worth it does support games.

It's worth $12 assuming you don't have much aversion to gore. It's a fun shooter with some interesting mechanics that keep it from getting too stale. I hear it's kind of short but that hasn't been a complaint of mine in a long time. If you don't think you'll get to it soon though it sounds like it'll drop in price pretty quickly. I assume it'll be $10 or less during steam's summer sale if you think you won't get around to it for that long.

The story is actually pretty nice in between missions. I never read the comics but i really did enjoy this game.

Thanks for the FYI!

Picked up LA Noire. Even if its the standard version, for 5 bucks its hard to beat!

Not sure how the PC version compares, I heard it's buggy, but $5 for L.A. Noire is an absolute steal.

Went ahead and got Crysis 2 for $7.49. I figure that's worth it, despite the mixed opinions.

I bit o L.A. Noire. Played for an hour, so far the game looks and feels fine. I have to get used to the movement, it is not as fluid as I expected.

Is it worth holding out on LA Noire for a package that includes the expansions and stuff? (Steam or otherwise?)

For those wondering, the PC Version of LA Noire is technically the complete edition, isn't it? At least when I bought it on Steam it was and there isn't really any other option...

There is a DLC listed for the Amazon PC verision of the game.. with some additional missions and toys like a suit that gives you better aim, etc.
