amazon shipping method?

uhm, I've ordered from Amazon plenty of times with free super saver shipping and it came UPS. They just held onto the package for a few days before shipping, then sent it UPS Ground. I've now been a happy prime member for a few months now, its the best.

USPS ain't bad. There are times I'd take standard postal shipping for a product but the store only lets you choose from UPS/Fedex. I'd prefer more normal postal options.

All of this.

Prime was one of the best things I've signed up for.

Edit because I fail at quoting.

It depends on what facility it comes from. Most of it is UPS, but I've gotten a few from Fedex and one from DHL. They don't have one set shipping service for any of the methods.

I've gotten both UPS Ground and USPS from Amazon. I always opt for free shipping if I can get it.

USPS is faster, of course.

If you take the free shipment, they hold the merchandise for an extra week and then ship as slow as possible through USPS. It is almost worth it to pay extra and go through Barnes and Noble. Plus you can take your merchandise back to a B&M store through B&N.

My HDTV, even tho it was sold by Amazon, came from some weird shipping company whose name escapes me at the moment. They called 2 days in advance to verify address and the HDTV came in perfect condition. And fortunately I ordered it 2 days before Amazon started to collect tax from NYC buyers. 🙂

Prime uses 2 day fedex.

I've ordered about 30 items via Prime in the past few months and all have come via UPS 2nd Day Air. Dunno if it depends on location in the US, but its all UPS down here in FL.

Not always, as you've already been informed. Plus, you can never choose the shipper when buying from Amazon.

UPS never delivers to a PO Box when shipping by Amazon.
