Is it only for storage? "It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers"

yeah but from what i saw online, you have to find software to make your uploading and downloading easier. Or make your own application. Hence for developers.

Here is a VERY cool use of S3.

I think I'm going to start testing this for some of my clients to use as off-site backups...much cheaper and simpler than our current solutions.
