I want to return something I bought because I don't want it any more. It's not opened and 30 days have not passed.

My question is: who pays for the returns shipping? I used free shipping but Amazon says if the returns is no error of theirs, the buyer pays for return shipping. How much should that come for a 2lb box?

In addition, if you use a mailing label provided by our Returns Center and your return is not the result of our error, the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund.

Why not call and ask? If you're getting the return tag through them it will depend on their shipping rates.

you pay...

usps.com
ups.com
fedex.com

go check

They suggest using their shipping slip (which is printable). I'm guessing that they deduct the shipping cost from the refund issued. I just want at estimate of how much that should be. If it's more than $7, I might not return it.

Edit: I got my answer. I will have to pay the standard shipping rate:

It'll be close to $10. I will not return it. Thanks
