Amazon Refund to a Different Credit Card?

I ordered a new Osprey pack that I'm not 100% certain will fit me perfectly. Unfortunately there are no stores within a few hundred miles of me that have the particular model in stock so I could not try it on before ordering.

This past weekend, a couple days after I ordered the pack, someone tried to process a fraudulent charge on my credit card. Thankfully, it was instantly declined by the CC company, and they are sending me a new card with a new number.

If the pack I ordered from Amazon does not fit perfectly and I end up returning it, will they send a refund to my new CC number?

The number still works, they just made it so you can't use it for a purchase, a refund still works.
How do I know? I had a CC # switch on me, and they applied the credit to my old #, and the new statement showed the transaction with the old # note.

Worst case is Amazon will give you Amazon credit. Honestly, that's what I usually take when I send in for a refund. I sure as hell know I will be ordering withing a day or two anyways.

Probably this, the renewal for our Prime came up and Amazon charged it to another card I had used in the past and the wife about had a fit.

I was planning on renewing it anyways, but that pissed her off.

Good to know.
