Amazon recomendation engine needs a little work

It looks okay on the surface, until you realize that I already purchased Ghostbusters on Blu Ray from Amazon.

Heheh, and if it did realize it people would be complaining about Amazon tracking their purchases. You have to tell Amazon you already own it.

...they do have made a record of what you bought, its called a receipt. Or sales history.

So does the supermarket but people still use the same reason not to opt in on their membership cards.
