Now get to ordering and just make sure it says Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. or "FULFILLED by Amazon" before placing the order, or else Prime does not apply. I don't want to see a thread by you complaining your first order took eight business days to reach you, then we all find out it was not shipped or fulfilled by Amazon... :p

I love Prime and could never go back to waiting, or even worse, getting USPS delivery. D:

Thanks, but who do you think you are talking to!?!?

Be sure to note that it's for Paid subscriptions only, not for the freebie version for college students, etc.
I had assumed as much, there are other perks that Prime members who signed up with that promotion don't receive.

Still a nice value-add for the regular subscribers, though. Stuff like this makes me more likely to renew once my free trial runs out.

Awesome...

My wife signed up the other day for a trial. They have some kind of promotion that you get extended trial for every $25 you spend on baby stuff :) I'll have to check it out on my Tivo later on.

Damn, talk about added value. I'm sure they're going to be adding content as time goes on as well.

I'm now seriously considering paying $79 for Amazon Prime. I'm not a student so there's no way I can get it for free as my Amazon Mom 3 month subscription trial expired.

I ordered using Amazon Prime at 3:36 p.m. (confirmation e-mail), yesterday.

It was delivered at 8:19 a.m. (text message notification), today.

Just under 17 hours...

Yeap. Prime rocks.
Honestly ANY overnight shipping just kinda blows my mind. When I can get a package from LA to NYC in about 14hrs sometimes? The logistics behind that is amazing.

Monoprice is another fast shipper. Because of the proximity of my place to them, I get almost all my items the next day (if I order before noon), but it feels even faster.

I joke that when I am on the MonoPrice website placing an order, I almost feel like they are standing at my door waiting for me to complete my order so they can ring the doorbell and deliver the items.
