Amazon Panasonic 37" plasma 999.77 shipped

This may be true, but given that the Amazon price is 800 off and the CC price of 1599 is 300 off, if I remember correctly (might only be 200), the Amazon price is now about 45% off, and if CC will pm to $850 it would represent a 53% reduction from the original 1800. To me that is a steal. I doubt seriously you will see any non-EDTV Panasonic Plasmas selling for less anytime soon. Looks like the price reflects what the article says with the reduced price already here.

Please let me know if Circuit city will actually sell one to someone at that price. Good plan if CC will go along.

You might be able to get the price match from CC, but with Amazon you get a free (AR) wall mount arm. After adding the CC tax, the better deal is from Amazon if you need the arm.

No.

Specs show:
480p/720p/1080i

I meant the 42" Panasonics that are dropping to $999 in the above linked article.

Also, according to CC's website, they do not Pricematch Internet sites, only B&M CC against cc.com, so YMMV on that.

Makes me feel good I never went and picked up the $1199 Panny plasma I got online on BF,

In for 1. Thanks OP. The quality of this TV is just too good to pass up for the price. I originally had an Olevia 37" LCD ordered from J&R from BF but thankfully it was back-ordered and I cancelled. This Panny will smoke that TV and I am going to use it for a bedroom TV (Tv only), so this fills the bill nicely. Will replace a 13 year old 27" Sony. Thanks for the heads up!!!

Unfortunately, the arm is not free AR. The TV is not on the qualifying list. That would have been a nice addition for free.....

Does BB pricematch online prices? If so I think they also have this for $1399. If they do a 110% match that would reduce the plasma to about $960, but from what I have heard they may not pm online prices.

Panny's have a beautiful picture, but too bad they reserve "true" HD resolution for their 50" and higher models only.
1024x720 is good, and the vert. resolution is correct, but man, that loss of over 250 lines horizontally is pretty signifigant. I know most won't mind, but is seems that Panasonic is trying to dump all sub 50" models, knowing that LCDs are dominating that size. The 50" and over plasmas, though, still command a good price over the cheaper brands.

It is on the qualifying list, but for some reason it's listed in the 42" and higher section: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?r...%5Flink%5F2&docId=1000032671&plgroup=2

This deal is smoking for those looking for a smaller flat panel TV. If this thing had a cablecard slot I would order one for the bedroom. I don't like the idea of a set top box in the bedroom if the TV was to be wall mounted.

Smoking DEAL!!!!

Check out Crutchfield for better pics and specs....

Dang, nice find and thanks a bunch Jono  Makes the deal a whole lot sweeter, thank you my friend 🙂

I don't think I will bother with the arm afterall. The Panny support holes don't look to be VESA 75/100 and the only 2 Mustang mounts that qualify are 75/100. Rather, the mount hole spacing on the TV is 26" wide x 12.5" high.....

Hmmm. Panasonic is offering a $200 rebate on installation.delivery when you purchase this TV.

Link to the rebate form

Must include rebate form, receipt, box label/UPC, and "installation/delivery receipt".

From Panasonic's website:

"* Installation includes wall mounting or placement on a stand, including freight cost. Wall mount kit not included."

I think it's worth a try!

Holy shnikey :Q I read the terms of the rebate and there is nothing there that I see that will prohibit this rebate. $799 AR would be smoking hot.....tanks skimple. Most likely a longshot, but, I'll give it a shot....
