I signed up for my Ofoto account (new user) with the free CD mailed from Amazon. I uploaded and ordered my prints, which are in the process of shipping. How do I get my CG now? As anyone gotten their $25?
 
I heard back:

Thank you for contacting the Ofoto Customer Support Team.

We apologize for the confusion. There is no confirmation when entering
in your email address & password, but you have been registered to
receive the $25 gift certificate. You'll be receiving an email
containing the certificate number within 1-2 weeks.

I just called Ofoto's customer service, they checked my account, and said they'd "try to have the gift certificate out" (to me) "by the end of the week." It comes by email. Anybody know if you can use the gift certificate and a $$ off coupon on the same order?
 
I just received the email with my Gift Certificate code (about 5 minutes after I called Ofoto customer service). Consider me satisfied!
 
Consider me unsatisfied. The promotional code that Ofoto sent me for the $25 gift certificate bounced. When I tried to use it at Amazon.com I got an error message saying the code had already been redeemed. I'm hoping this was just an error by Ofoto; in any case I emailed both Ofoto and Amazon.com and I'm waiting for one or the other to correct this mistake.:|
 
Looks like someone is trying to weasel out of this deal. Check out an email I just received from Amazon when I inquired about my gc.

Send them here (link also available above) if they deny any mention of the $25 GC, the deal is spelled out with the final step to receive the GC! No backing out on this one! Also, you could scan the cover of your oFoto CD envelope, &quot;get 25 free prints and earn a $25 gift certificate from amazon.com&quot; seems pretty clear to me and probably to any lawyer should they attempt to &quot;back out&quot; on it...
 
Brian Pinkster is the HUGEST a$$ on amazon...i've spoken to him before, he always &quot;claims&quot; nothing is ever amazon.com's fault, and he frankly said he doesn't care about anyone's problems...order specialist my a$$, he should be cleaning up dog $hit...

note the tone of his letter, sounds like he thinks I just made all this up and/or confused the 25 free prints with a $25 gc. It just sounds like he is calling me a liar albeit in a nice way.... What a jerk.

Ok I been looking for a hour now... how do you get the 25 free prints? I have uploaded the pictures , signed in a new account but when I go though the check out procedure it is trying to charge me for the prints...
