Just ordered one, Amazon gave me an additional $25 off.

$128 with taxes in my state nice...

I have a Kindle with ads, don't mind it at all.

Only 1 per person, I went ahead and ordered a 16 and a 32, got the additional $25 off of each.

Original post edited, added the $25 off.

I'm sure you can get rid of the ads with custom roms. Or like me using an app like No Lock to bypass the lock screen. There's nothing confidential on my phone to have to unlock every time I need to use it.

Very interesting...I assume it'll be loaded with the Amazon ecosystem (Kindle, app. store, etc.) as well?

The picture shows it does, but you're not locked into them, has the Google Play store as well.
Good catch.

Also found on the G4's description:
Prime members get unlimited access to Prime movies and TV shows, Prime Music, photo storage, deals, and more with a pre-installed selection of Amazon apps, including Amazon Underground where over 2,000 premium apps, games, and in-app items are 100% FREE

Wonder if this means the Prime movies/TV shows will finally be available as an app for Android (if it's not already). Edit looks like you can do this with the Amazon underground app.

Unrelated to the OP but why are you needing an app for this? You should be able to simply disable the lockscreen in your settings.

Looking at the permissions for the app No Lock, I would be suspicious of it...

I posted earlier, with a link, Motorola will unlock their boot loaders, unknown if they'll unlock these phones.

I had the same question when I read this post. You can turn the lockscreen off in any version of android. Why use an app to do it?

I'm guessing most likely not.
They won't unlock Moto E's and G's from Cellular Wireless, Cricket etc...

Red, I didn't know because the lock screen option is buried in security menu. That's why I use the app. I just Uninstalled the app and played with Android settings and it works! Thanks

I wouldn't count on the bootloader for these phones to be unlocked nor on Motorola providing you with one.
