As Cubeless once put it: "Pretty soon these things will be the prizes in boxes of Cracker Jack". :p

Unfortunately, that is the only time I will ever considering putting another OCZ product into my PC.

I've been mega burned by ocz 4 times, across 3 product lines. It's almost statistically significant, jk, it's not, but I really did have a failed psu, 2 failed ram kits, and 2 failed vertex 3s. :whiste:

This was still going on Newegg this morning. I've never had an issue with OCZ. I've been running a Vertex 3 120gb for over a year now.

If you buy this from tigerdirect via amazon, can you still do the rebate? I would normally just go to TD directly to avoid any issues, but I happen to have ~$75 in amazon gift cards so it would be awesome to convert that into 1 ssd.

Already had my fair share of dead SSDs from OCZ, no thanks.

Even with my hatred for OCZ SSDs (had multiple failures from various models), this is making my trigger finger twitchy....

If there's anything positive from OCZ SSD is they dragged the rest of the SSD prices down which is really very good! But no, I'm not putting in an OCZ SSD I'll just have to wait until Intel or Samsung lowers their prices.

I just picked one up earlier this afternoon for $79.99 from Circuit City via Amazon. It is my first SSD and going from a 500gb 5400rpm to this, should be a huge difference. I look forward to getting a Samsung or Intel in a few months when prices go down. This will be a good start for now.
