Linky is here

My personal favorites are :
Led Zeppelin - Physical Graffiti
Metallica - Black Album
Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
Guns n Roses - Appetite to Destruction

Owned most of them but I am in the process of replacing my illegally downloaded mp3s with legit stuff.

Same here. I'm picking up the Black Album because I used to have it on tape, but never bothered to buy it on CD. Thanks for the heads up on the deal.

There's a bunch of nice indie-ish albums for $2.99, too. Shins, Fleet Foxes, Iron & Wine, Postal Service, Radiohead, Arcade Fire, Decemberists, Flight of the Conchords, etc...

I will agree that Amazon music is high-quality for MP3. The classical that I got for my folks was something like 256kps VBR.

Are these rock albums the same bitrate?

Lots of good stuff. Latest albums from FFDP and Foo Fighters are great but I already have them. Might grab Chevelle.

Thanks op. I bought a bunch the other day. There were a bunch of $4 and $5 albums too. Sound quality is decent for most of them.
