the phone is not that good, I used it for 2 months, sold it for $250 on ebay and got myself the ericsson S710 for $550. What a big difference, so much better. The only good thing about the Z3 is that it is thin.

I played with my friend's razr too... i felt that the phone is not good except its physical appearance...

Thanks for pointing this out.

BTW - Get $150.00 from Amazon.com with this mail-in rebate when you activate a service plan of $39.99 or higher.

They are coming out with a updated model with a 2 megapixel camera and more internal memory. Basically this phone is functionally equivalent to the Motorola V600.

I would hope that $550 phone is damn good at oral.

What gives? These are Amazon links and no intermediate referrals..

The forum rules state:
----------------
No SPAM!
This includes:
Links to muli-level marketing schemes such as pay-to-surf or pay-for-referral sites, whether paid in cash or premiums.
----------------

Amazon is not a multi-level marketing scheme.

A lot of other posts have Amazon affiliates in this forum and no one complains about them.

Heh, what'd you expect from Motorola, the whole company went south after Hector left for AMD.

The reason that we (Cingular) don't offer insurance on the phone is quite simple. Lock/line administers the insurance program on all of Cingular's (as well as Sprint PCS) handsets. They decide if the risk if low enough to insurance the phone based on the cost to replace a lost/damaged handset. When I worked for Sprint they wouldn't cover the Treo 600 when it was first released due to its high cost. It's a simple matter of economics.

I'm gonna wait for the next gen razr's which HOPEFULLY will have the apple-licensed mp3 feature working. That's really the only thing holding me back at this point since one of my phone contracts is up (I say one of since my family has two different contracts-and yes I will just take the nicer phone lol).

I thought the Razr was sweet, but was in HK over the summer and saw ads galore for Sony Ericsson's K700i. Bought it on ebay nib. Can't find anyone with anything as good anywhere - it's still not for sale in retail stores from tmobile and cingular.

My $.02:

Do not buy this phone. It's a piece of $%#@!! A good friend of mine is a cell phone wholesaler (this guy has used almost every phone out there) and he advised against this phone. I actually had a chance to get this phone free, he pointed my towards another Samsung model. I'm very happy with my decision after hearing nothing but negative reviews of the V3.

Anyhow, like I said, my $.02.
