Amazon misprice - DeNiro 5 DVD Box Set $10.85 shipped

ordered- but they suck on pre-orders like this b/c they'll send you an email saying this is the real price when they are ready to ship. They did that with Hannibal and Crouching Tiger too I think. Worth a shot though, could probably complain to customer service that this happens too frequently to get something for your time.
 
Nice find! I know this won't come true, but I've held off on these in the past. And I've missed out on apology Gift Certificates. One of those out of the deal would be nice!

just ordered it. that would be sweet. i wouldn't bet anything on it, though, especially because it's a pre-order. a gift certificate would be nice tho.

Saved myself 10%, here's how:

I ordered the first set with one email address, and then after confirmation, it gave me the option to send an email to 'friends' for 10% off what I just ordered. I sent the email to another 'friend' with an email address and password that I knew, and that had an account with Amazon with the same CC #. Ordered the set for 10% off with that email in the 'friends' account, and cancelled the original order.
 
I ordered at the $7.87 price -- I bet it turns out to be $78.70 or something ...........

EDIT: Actually, I think the thread says $10.85 SHIPPED -- the $7.87 price is what is was at the start.

hopefully they'll send out a decent sized GC for the error, or even honor it... doubtfull, but theres always that 0.000000001% that they will
