I noticed that a number of the Amazon Marketplace Sellers state that "UPC has been carefully removed."

What do they do, remove the UPC, collect the rebate, then resell, or do they buy special lots from the manufacturer who removes UPC so no rebates are available?

Or is something else going on?

Just wondering..............

Yes, and they're being honest about it so you don't buy the item thinking that you can collect the rebate yourself.

Cutouts / closeouts, marked so they can't be returned by any record store as normal stock for full credit.

Do you use rebates that are limited to one address (one item), or can you find rebates that have a higher limit?

Most rebates have a limit of one. Kingston normally lets you get 2. But I normally use two addresses anyway to double up.

I went to the DMV to get a copy of my driving record a few months back and there were five people in NC with my exact same name (First, Middle, Last). Imagine how many people in NC have my First and Last name only.

I guess in this case, it may be good to have a common name like John Smith, Tom Williams, etc. Just have to find a way to set up other address other than POB's, like friends and family.
