On my last order, using free shipping, they waited 7 days to pick the order then shipped it out next day to get it to me within the 8 day commitment timeframe. That makes zero sense to me.
They don't. http://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2014/07/24/amazon-announces-second-quarter-results/13107009/
"Amazon.com shares tumbled Thursday after the e-commerce giant posted a... $126 million loss for its second quarter despite revenue of $19.34 billion."
"Forrester analyst Sucharita Mulpuru blamed the loss solely on Amazon's Prime program, which offers two-day free shipments to customers for $99 a year."
but their fire tv seems to be selling well - mainly due to xbmc sideload support? they might lock it up soon enough![]()
I doubt Amazon is making much on the FireTV. Amazon is not making anything from people buying it as XBMC box. These people are not going to buy or rent TV shows or movies from Amazon.
Fire phone will be sales bomb and will hurt Amazon. I will be shocked if it doesn't.

Depending where you are located in relation to the Amazon warehouse, it will go directly from the warehouse to the local dispatch facility.I noticed Amazon lists the guaranteed Prime deliver date, but the package doesn't actually ship out until the night before its due, and it always arrives on time.
then pay for shipping.
I think WalMart.ca has you beat. I don't usually shop there, but they had a deal on jeans, so I ordered a couple of pairs. I ordered at about 7 am, and they arrived 6 pm the same day. Free shipping, and these were like $15 items or something.
BTW, I just ordered a "Used - Good" air conditioner from Amazon.ca Warehouse Deals. Hopefully it doesn't look like it's been through a war or something.
haha well saidAnother clear victory for slave robot labor.
