ahaahah, amazon rules. I was king of the useless kitchen crap in the gold box. No dvd's, electronics, computer crap, hell, id even check out cool toys, nada. Kitchen crap. I got pissed and decided to not check it everyday and see if i got something different. Well, box go bye bye and not come back. Its been gone a week. Cleared cookies, used link, blank. I had to lower security settings in ie 5.5. Got my gold box back. Yeah! Kitchen crap!

I use to get the Gold Box all the time then some idiot said I could get different things by cleaning out my cache. I, also being an idiot, listened and boom, no Gold Box since! I suck!

I've never had a problem with not getting any GB deals. I frequently delete my cookies and files about once a week. When it disappears, all I have to do is shut down, restart and bam there it is. My only problem is, I can't seem to get GB deals more than twice a day and I always get either kitchen or tool s**t. :|

Someone remind me to get something from electronics at amazon.. I'm so sick of Kitchen ad's anyone need a juicer, sandwich maker, crock pot, or hand blender.... jeez.. SUCKY! 😀

For folks who still cannot get the Amazon gold box to show up, try this:

On IE, go to Tools > Internet Options.
Go to the "Privacy" tab.
Turn privacy setting all the way up to "Block All Cookies".
Click Apply, then OK.

Now browse to http://www.amazon.com and you should see the gold box on the upper right corner of the screen.

This has always worked for me. No need to delete cookies which is good because I have some cookies I would like to keep (like bank account etc.)

Good luck! 🙂

It seems that nobody has post a direct link to the Amazon Gold Box. So here it is:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/static/-/goldbox/index/

Step 1: Clear your browser cache (for windows 2000 or xp, it's in C:\Documents and Settings\your account name\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files) or: for IE Click "Tools" and choose "Internet Options", click "Settings" under "Temporary Internet Files". Next, click "View Files" tab.

Step 2: Visit http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/stores/static/-/goldbox/index/

You should see a goldbox like this

If you can't see it, repeat step 1 and 2.

Step 3: Click on "personalized recommendations" link and sign in.

Good luck!

Under step 1, click "view files" and then what? We are supposed to leave it open while going to step 2? It can't be done.

okay, i think amazon has modified gold box again.
you don't always get one type of offers, electronics, tools, kitchens, etc.
you now get a mixture of all.
my primary account which kept getting kitchen/took is now getting some electronics mixed in there as well.
my other account which has been receiving electronics are also mixed.
