You have no idea how happy this makes me! Just placed a test order, almond milk, assorted fresh veggies & fruit, hummus, bread!

My order should arrive before 6am .. As a cancer pt you have no idea how happy this makes me 🙂

The best was when they were selling 1 unit, 2 pounds frozen wild mexican shrimp for $19.99/lb, and billed me for $19.99/package. I spent a lot of months eating shrimp 😀

BOSTON —Amazon is getting in on the action of grocery delivery services in the Greater Boston area.

Amazon announced Tuesday that its delivery service, AmazonFresh, is now available to customers in Boston. Areas include Charlestown, Beacon Hill, Back Bay, Jamaica Plain, Brighton, Allston, and others.

AmazonFresh offers 95,000 items to choose from according to the company and offers same-day and next-day delivery.

For a limited time, customers in eligible Boston ZIP codes can receive $25 off their first order by entering FRESH25OFF at checkout.
eh

So it's just a summer thing? Cone deliveries during hot weather? I like it.

I go to the grocery store on average 3x per week so I can buy fresh fruits and vegetables. It's such a pain to have to walk there and back so often. I wish we had this in Chicago.

Closest thing I have is Wal-mart grocery pick-up. I can order fresh shit online but I have to go to the store to pick it up.

Can order the dry/packaged stuff so it's not too bad... except for the guilt of making the mail man hump an 18 lb sack of rice out of his van.

Updating to say my delivery was perfect, everything came packaged in really sturdy, insulated totes with ice packs. The fruit & veggies were flat out beautiful, red peppers, asparagus, haas avocados, cherries, nectarines, plums, three cartons of almond milk, garlic hummus, breads, all arrived intact, no leaking or spillage.

Very pleased with the service!

That's awesome dude, they are saying this industry is a billion dollar one and out of all the new companies blowing up in it, i would only trust amazon for quality delivery and guarantees. Obviously you wanna check food to see if its bad and dont assume its all good. But if anything was bad amazon has the most amazing policies for this type of stuff.

It's an expedition of 150 feet from my front door to the grocery store. We don't get home delivery because we're within a block of the.post office.

Sorry to hear about your cancer. Good luck.

I wondered about the cone thing myself a bit 🙂

I'd still rather pick out my own veggies, etc myself though.

The cone thing was me typing on my iPad lol 🙂

I have cancer, a trip to the grocery store takes energy I would rather spend going out to a movie or dinner or for trying to work a full day. Besides, they took great care in bringing me perfect produce. Delivery service fails if they get sloppy with produce selection & I think they know that.
