Would anyone like to chime in with their experiences with the Amazon Visa and/or Amazon store credit card(s)? I'm seriously considering getting one :)

I have one, enjoy getting the GC's from Amazon a lot, although I keep the balance paid off, their interest rate is legalized rape IMHO, don't remember what it is, but that it's pretty high.

That's retarded.

why? a 30 credit is a 30 credit.

I did the same myself and picked up l4d and lbp for 70 bucks - 30 credit... so 40 bucks all together. Required very little effort...

Do you buy stuff from Amazon?

If so, it's a good deal if you are not going to carry a balance, then the interest rate is always 0%.

1% back from all purchases, 3% back from Amazon purchases, paid as Amazon GCs that are automatically mailed to you. What's not to like?

Just signed up for one. I order from Amazon probably 10 times a year, so it should save me some cash.

I have one. I pay it off each month. I love getting those $25 reward certificates in the mail. Earlier this year I had the cash on-hand for my wives plastic surgery, However I found out they accepted credit cards for the surgery. I had the wife pay for it using the Amazon card and then turned around and paid it off. A couple of weeks later I go $200 in Amazon reward certificates in the mail. :)

You could have left it open and it would have improved your credit score.

boob job?

The correct term is breast augmentation but yes a boob job. She lost around 120lbs and had a lot of excess skin and her boobs where very droopy and she lost a couple of cup sizes. She had a tummy tuck, skin removed from her upper arms, breast lift and breast augmentation. She is very happy with her new breasts in the correct location and I haven't minded one bit. :)
