You can find the older fusionio cards for much less than this and with higher reliability as they were intended for servers and were super expensive when new.
Where? My quick searching did not turn up anything at this price for this capacity.

This is the cheapest 8TB i could find....
its not nVME tho, its SATA.
Micron Ion 8TB on Ebay. Do a search.

If you want nVME, your only gonna find them in U2 form factor, and again Ebay is probably your best bet like this guy:
HGST 8TB U.2 Form factor.

I would most definitely get a squaretrade warrenty on those if its available, and just opt to getting a partial refund back if it dies in the warrenty period.
