Compact 1/2 Li-Ion impact wrench, no battery or charger $108-25=83$.

This wouldn't be to shabby for little girl scout jobs at home...though the regular price is laughable, and even the discounted price is a bit iffy unless you already have the dewalt charger/batteries.

There are other girl scout options around $100 that include the battery/charger, but would not be Li-Ion. Like this:

you aren't really comparing dewalt and craftsman as comparable are you

don't get me wrong, I have a lot of craftsman tools, including the c3 1/4" impact driver, but my friends dewalt stuff is just nicer.

Depends on the age, I think old Dewalt was better quality. In last 6 years I literally broke ~10 Dewalt drills (required contract at work). Their new stuff is not quality in my experience...but good enough for light duty home jobs. I have craftsman tools that have held up better than the Dewalt stuff. Craftsman also has a super cheap lifetime warranty option that covers accidental damage ect.

Like I said, if you already have a Dewalt charger and the Li-Ion batteries then the impact driver for under $100 is a decent deal...if not and you want something cheap that craftsman kit will be a better buy. To get a Dewalt battery and charger separate would cost another ~100$ or more, and I know for $200 total you can find better options.

even the new stuff.....the trigger and chuck on my friends new dewalt 20v stuff blows my craftsman away

beyond that, the trades are better ways to show durability :)

Thanks OP. Been looking to grab a new lithium ion circular saw and this definitely helps.
