Why would I do that with a physical book? That's nonsense. Efficiency is superior to sentimentality.
So our throw away society has gotten to the point where we do not worry about passing things down to our kids, grand kids, great grand kids?
The time when we could pull a book off the shelf, open it up and show our kids what our grandparents read has passed us by?
That is nonsense.
Its important to share our heritage with our children.
Like when my daughter was asking about Texas History. I pulled "The Raven: A Biography of Sam Houston" off the shelf, handed it to her and said "this is your great grandfathers book - he read it, your grandfather read it, I read it (her dad), and now its your turn to read it."
~~~~ EDIT ~~~~
Awhile back my dad and I were looking at my grandfathers bible. Inside the bible was a small piece of paper where he made notes on how much, and how often he fed his cows. I think the paper was dated somewhere around 1970,,, 1971,,,.
Do that with your kindle.
