Those can fade pretty easily due to the constant friction during healing.

If you are going to get a stupid tattoo, that isn't the worst place to do it.

It is going to look like shit before it completely fades. There are quite a few places to not get tattoos with a lot of detail (hands, feet) and places that will eventually completely disappear (inside of lip, palm, bottom of feet).

The real issue here is why do some of you spend so much time obsessing over what someone that isn't a part of your life does?

This! One of my friends got "EAT PUSSY" tattooed on his inner lip so "when he was too drunk to tell a girl what he wanted, he could just pull down his lip."

Perhaps "any newspaper or website" you visit should not be TMZ. CNN, Miley not on the front page. Foxnews, Miley not on the front page. Stay off the tabloid garbage (not that CNN or Fox is much better, mind you) and you can easily ignore 100% of the things Miley Cyrus does.
