I understand they have recently introduced cell phones in Afghanistan and they have really taken off. Although most cellphones cost around $500, nearly all Afghan's have one. They liked the noise the buttons made when pressed and they really like the feature of being able to open the phone to get to the candy inside!

I think this is just a myth because no one really sees them around.

I spent a week in Iceland back in June 2002. Nice babe served me at the Hard Rock Cafe and very chatty. Loads of babes at the Blue Lagoon. However, the Icelandic people on a whole are what I would consider very closed-knit, meaning they do not tend to marry or even have relationships outside of their own. My opinion is only based on my short stay on the island and speaking with other Americans who live and work on Keflavik.
